HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Slot-machine revenue at Pennsylvania casinos fell 3.6 percent in April.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said Friday that Pennsylvania's 12 casinos took in about $198 million from slots last month, down about $7 million from the year-ago period.
Including only the 11 casinos that were also open in April 2013, revenue fell 4.6 percent.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. ended speculation Friday that it was looking to sell its Pennsylvania casino, saying the company plans further financial investment into the property, while naming a former Atlantic City casino executive to head the resort.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Idaho Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter and Attorney General Lawrence Wasden on Friday filed a federal court lawsuit to stop the Coeur d'Alene Tribe from offering poker at its northern Idaho casino.

Las Vegas-based gaming equipment manufacturer Bally Technologies Inc. continued to ride its acquisition of SHFL entertainment to post record revenue in the third quarter of 2013.
Bally, which closed the deal for SHFL in November, on Thursday reported earnings of $66.1 million, 70 cents a share, on revenue of $338.4 million for the quarter that ended March 31.

The Macau casino industry didn’t produce a third straight $4 billion gaming revenue month in April, but the final total and double-digit increase were enough to ease worries of a market slowdown.
Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau said Friday casinos collected $3.9 billion in gaming revenue during April, a 10.6 percent increase over April 2013.

(Bloomberg) -- Wynn Macau Ltd. reported first-quarter profit that beat analyst estimates as billionaire Steve Wynn’s casino drew more premium mass-market customers in the world’s largest gambling hub. The stock climbed.

BOSTON (AP) - Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh has won a week's reprieve in his bid to have the city named a "host community" for casino proposals in neighboring Everett and Revere.

Station Casinos announced plans Wednesday to spend $20 million on improvements to Green Valley Ranch Resort by adding four restaurant and bar concepts and other amenities to the hotel-casino in Henderson.
The move comes after the company recently announced a $35 million renovation to Red Rock Resort.
