Betting on Sports America Digital 2020, a dedicated sports betting trade show and conference for the U.S. market, has unveiled its agenda and announced that the event will be free for all delegates.

Following the recent announcement that the conference/expo has switched from a physical event in New Jersey to a virtual trade show on the same December 1-3 dates, organizer Sports Betting Community (SBC) can now also confirm that it will be free to attend.

The decision to waive the usual fee for the registration is part of SBC’s policy to support the many companies and individuals in the industry that have taken a big financial hit from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Betting on Sports America Digital will provide an opportunity for operators, affiliates, suppliers and others in the sports betting ecosystem to learn from the senior executives shaping the future of U.S. sports betting, view the latest sportsbook innovations, and connect with fellow industry professionals.

The conference  will feature eight content tracks focusing on overcoming the problems the U.S. sports betting industry faces as it continues its state-by-state rollout and ideas on how to realize the market’s full potential. The tracks are:

  • Betting in Society – examining the industry’s relationship with other sectors
  • Regulatory Roundup – assessing the latest legislative developments
  • Sports Betting 101 – providing solutions to common problems for new operators
  • Investment – assessing the opportunities for investment businesses
  • Betting on Sports – looking at betting’s relationship with sports leagues and teams
  • Operations – outlining the latest technical developments for sportsbooks
  • Betting on Regulation – detailing how to handle key legal and financial issues
  • Marketing & Affiliation – evaluating how brands can reach sports fans

The line-up of 130 speakers, comprising operators’ senior executives, regulators, affiliates, suppliers, and advisors, is set to be announced shortly.

The event will also have an interactive product display area where operators will be able to learn about the next generation of products and services from international suppliers, talk to suppliers’ expert teams, and experience the products directly through demos. There will be further opportunities for operators and suppliers to connect in the virtual networking lounge, the meeting rooms in the virtual networking bar, and at the program of themed networking roundtables.

Sue Schneider, SBC’s VP Growth & Strategy, Americas, said, “The inaugural Betting on Sports America in New Jersey last year established the event as a key date on the industry calendar. We’re returning with an improved offering in December, and the combination of the virtual format and free passes means everyone involved in U.S. sports betting can attend from the comfort of their office or home.”
