California: Red Hawk Casino reopening June 1 with additional safety precautions in place

Red Hawk Casino in Placerville, CA, will reopen to the public at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 1, with a stringent list of safety precautions in place. The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians tribal leadership and casino management team developed the measures to provide the safest environment for team members and guests.

They include: social distancing among casino guests not residing in the same household; temperature checks with thermal cameras of guests and team members at all casino entrances; face masks or coverings for guests and team members; reduced number of open slot machines and seating at table games; additional hand-sanitizing stations throughout the casino; casino-wide chip cleaning; frequent sanitizing of high-touch surfaces; additional sanitizing by request at the slot machines; reduced seating in restaurants utilizing disposable paper menus; no self-serve food or beverages; and all team members retrained on proper hand-washing and sanitizing procedures.
