California: Riverside woman says she was followed home from casino, robbed of winnings Brian Rokos, Press-Enterprise · September 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm A Riverside woman told police that she believes a man followed her home after she won money at Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa in Cabazon and robbed her of the cash at gunpoint. The theft happened Aug. 16 in the 5400 block of Via Junipero Serra, said Officer Ryan Railsback, a spokesman for the Riverside Police Department. The woman gave her account to the media just recently. The 68-year-old woman, who declined to give her name, told KCBS2 that she had won $3,000 and driven the approximate 32 miles to her home near Canyon Crest Country Club. Railsback said the woman gave police a lesser dollar figure. Her home security video shows a person — she said a man — dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes suddenly appear as she gets out of her white, four-door sedan.
