CDC Gaming Reports is in full participation mode at the SBC Digital Summit North America, which starts tomorrow and runs through Thursday.
In Last Call each day, there will be a ‘From the Virtual Floor’ report featuring coverage from one of the largest digital events in the gaming industry. CDC Executive Editor Howard Stutz will lead a Wednesday keynote discussion with Zach Leonsis, General Manager of Monumental Sports CDC contributors Buck Wargo and Mark Gruetze will also be covering various panels.
In addition, CDC Gaming Reports will have a virtual booth that will be staffed by Business Manager Jeffrey Compton.
Publisher Cory Roberts will also be attending the event and will be compiling each day’s ‘From the Virtual Floor’ report. Contributing Editor Deke Castleman will be assisting with the report and editing CDC’s coverage of the event.
Howard Stutz’s keynote discussion with Zach Leonsis, General Manager of Monumental Sports will focus on the company’s strategic initiatives.
Monumental Sports owns the Capital One Arena in downtown Washington D.C., along with the NHL’s Washington Capitals, the NBA’s Washington Wizards and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics. The company signed an agreement last fall with William Hill U.S. to launch a retail sportsbook at the arena — the first of its kind in the U.S. — as part of the expansion of sport betting in the Nation’s Capital.
Leonsis will discuss the plans for the sportsbook and the mobile sports betting opportunities, along with the company’s investment in and the wagering potential of eSports.
