More than 15 years later, the truly iconic Las Vegas Strip headliner has announced her final performance there will come on June 8. Dion, Caesars Palace and AEG Presents announced the end of her second Colosseum residency, “Celine,” today, with tickets for that final performance and additional 2019 show dates going on sale Friday, September 28. Dion has performed 1,089 shows to 4.5 million fans at the Colosseum. Her first Strip production, “A New Day,” played from 2003 to 2007 and established the modern Las Vegas residency, a blueprint that eventually brought other superstars including Elton John, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Bruno Mars to the Strip. “Celine” made its debut on March 15, 2011 and returns to the Colosseum October 30 through November 17.
