The racing, online wagering, and gaming entertainment company announced Monday that it has reached agreements to introduce its TwinSpires Sports mobile app in Indiana, and the TwinSpires Casino & Sports app in Pennsylvania.

On April 23, CDI started online sports betting operations in Colorado through the TwinSpires Sports app.

“Because we are backed by Churchill Downs, the home of the Kentucky Derby, we can leverage nearly 150 years of wagering history to offer the best sports betting experience,” said TwinSpires President Ian Williams in a statement. “Now players in these states can place their bets on both sports and next Saturday’s Run for the Roses through TwinSpires.”

The launch of the apps in Indiana and Colorado coincides with the rebranding of CDI’s sportsbook and iGaming desktop product as TwinSpires.

The TwinSpires app allows players in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Colorado to bet on the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and PGA, collegiate sports, and other events from around the world.

In Pennsylvania, online casino players will have access to blackjack and roulette, and a selection of online slot machine games, as well as and live dealer games.

In an April 22 conference call, CDI officials said concentrating on long-term growth via investments in high-growth historical and gaming properties helped the company post higher revenue and net income for the three months ending March 31, reversing a net loss from a year ago.
