In a report to the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission (LGCC) during its monthly meeting Thursday, Colorado Division of Gaming Director Dan Hartman said the process of considering fixed-odds horse racing in the state will move forward in February, with the blessing of Department of Revenue Executive Director Mark Ferrandino and Gov. Jared Polis.
Hartman said fixed-odds horse racing will be considered through “rule making” from the Division of Gaming. He also said the Division of Gaming will be “adding some other rules that have been kind of collecting since we started sports betting.”
Hartman also indicated that there will be a stakeholder meeting to discuss these rules “in the first part of February.”
