FanDuel Sportsbook at MotorCity Casino-Hotel in Detroit has undergone a renovation that has resulted in a “world-class VIP room to better serve its customers,” according to a press release.

The new addition to the two-story retail sportsbook accounts for 1,100 square feet of space to accommodate up to 25 individuals. The room is furnished with 15 HDTVs, a bar, and leather lounge seating.

The upgrade is indicative of the competitive battle for sports betting patrons among Detroit’s three casinos – MotorCity, MGM Grand Detroit, and Hollywood Casino at Greektown. BetMGM Sports Lounge is located at MGM Grand Detroit, while Barstool Sportsbook is located at Hollywood Casino.
