This is according to test campaigns conducted by the Française des Jeux (FDJ), the operator of France’s national lottery games. Their results were revealed in a parliamentary report published on December 14th.

These figures are so alarming that the management of the public company has called on the state to intervene.

The FDJ, known for games such as Loto, Euromillions and Illiko amongst others, regularly performs “testing” operations at its retailers.

When a teenager tries to buy a ticket, they do not ask for an ID card to verify their age.
