Cordish Gaming Group is the global gaming division of the Cordish Companies. Leveraging the Live! Rewards customer-loyalty program, the igaming website and its mobile app will launch in fall 2020 in advance of the new Live! Casino openings, the first time a branded online gambling site will launch prior to its brick-and-mortar counterpart. PlayLive will enable residents of Pennsylvania to enroll online in advance for their Live! Rewards players card and will include slots, table games and non-traditional online gambling games. The new Live! Casino & Hotel, located in the Stadium Entertainment District in the City of Philadelphia, will feature 2,200 slot machines and 150-plus table games. The second new Live! Casino, located in Westmoreland County near Pittsburgh, will have more than 100,000 square feet of gaming, dining and entertainment space, including 750 slots and approximately 30 table games. Both locations are expected to open by the end of 2020. “With our established relationship, GAN was the logical provider of our enterprise platform for launching Internet gambling and offers Cordish the ability to extend on-property rewards into the online channel,” said Robert J. Norton, president of Cordish Gaming Group. “Our long-standing relationship with one of America’s premier commercial real estate families [will] bring Pennsylvania’s newest casino online later this year. Online will remain the growth driver of this industry for decades to come, not just in Pennsylvania, but across the nation,” said Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN Limited. Live! is an existing client of GAN’s Simulated Gaming launched online in 2015 as a complement to the Live! Casino & Hotel at Arundel Mills in Hanover, Maryland. Live! Casino will be GAN’s third igaming client in Pennsylvania. GAN also has operations in New Jersey and Indiana; its licensed igaming platform is expected to launch in Michigan and Ohio in the first half of 2021.
