The two were selected for induction in a vote by the living Poker Hall of Fame members and media. They are the 55th and 56th members of the Poker Hall of Fame.

Hennigan, who has more than $8 million in career tournament winnings, has cashed 10 times at this year’s World Series of Poker, including first place finish. He currently leads the WSOP’s Player of the Year standings. Hennigan has been a top poker player for more than two decades and competes in all versions of the game.

“I’m very excited by this news and grateful that it came at a point in my career when I was mature enough to be honored by it, because I am,” Hennigan said.  “Thanks to everyone who voted for me.”

Eskandani has been involved in the television production side of the poker industry for the past two decades. His work includes World Series of Poker on ESPN, and the NBC series’ Heads Up Championship, Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker. A one-time poker player, Eskandani has helped bring the game to a wide audience through television.
