During Responsible Gaming Education Week (RGEW) the industry is dedicated to raising awareness around our responsible gaming programs. The American Gaming Association (AGA) and our members understand that it’s more than a week-long event: It’s Our Commitment. Every Day.

Story continues below

RGEW represents the industry’s continued unity around promoting responsible gaming. Leaders of the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) and the National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG) have joined AGA to highlight the gaming industry’s shared commitment to responsible gaming.

Through industry led efforts, the AGA has also updated our Responsible Gaming Code of Conduct, as a demonstration of the industry’s commitment to protecting players and promoting responsible gaming. To highlight the many changes to the Code, AGA is holding two responsible gaming roundtable discussions:

    • Stockton University, Atlantic City, New Jersey; and
    • University of Nevada Las Vegas.

We encourage the casino gaming industry to use this week to reiterate foundational and evergreen responsible gaming education, programming and awareness with employees, patrons, policymakers, regulators and the public at large.

Additionally, enhanced materials for RGEW are also available on our website. In addition to the toolkit, posters, brochures and other collateral are available to order at AGA’s online store, which includes a new version of our Know the Odds brochure that addresses skill-based and hybrid games. Please use these materials for your RGEW plans and events within your organization.

Further, we encourage you to share your RGEW plans with us now and through the year. We will incorporate a member spotlight on the AGA website where we’ll highlight the industry’s recognition of responsible gaming.

If you have any questions about AGA’s engagement, or would like to propose other ideas for collaboration, please let us know.
