A safety meeting was held a few days prior to reopening. Though pleased with most of the guidelines, she didn’t understand why guests were not required to wear masks throughout the property. According to the initial release, guests were “strongly encouraged” to wear masks while staff members would be required to wear one and to have daily screening and temperature checks. “That hit us wrong,” she said. “We thought if it’s important for us to wear masks, then why wouldn’t it be important for them to wear masks for all the rest of us?
