Illinois: Hard Rock’s Rockford Casino rakes in $4.1M in first month

The Rockford Casino, operated by Hard Rock, took in $4.1 million in revenue in its first 22 days of operation, officials said. According to the Illinois Gaming Board, 41,637 admissions were recorded in November at the new casino, located at 610 N Bell School Road.

“20 days, 41,600 plus people going into the facility and 4.1 million,” said Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara. “That’s one heck of a good first act.”

The casino opened its doors to the public November 10, and revenue numbers for the month of November showed that there has been results in just 22 days.

“About $4.1 million for 22 days in the month of November, and we’re super excited about that,” said Wendy Kasche, Vice President of Finance for Hard Rock Casino Rockford.
