Staffers there have been told they should expect to be ready to go back to work on Friday.

25 News has learned that staff members have taken both phone calls and emails from managers in recent days, alerting them that they should plan on working Friday, and that the casino could be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

What’s missing is that there has yet to be official word from Gov. JB Pritzker and final approval from the Illinois Gaming Board.

Employees were told to expected Tier 2 conditions, to include masks and social distancing between players.

The Par-A-Dice has been closed since November 20.
