In an update from the Spillemyndigheden regulator, it was revealed that overall sports betting revenue was up 9% year-on-year to DKK 577m (€78m/$92m) in the three months to September 30. The rise in revenue came despite a drop in stakes of almost 5%. Land-based wagering accounted for only 33% of betting revenue, more than desktop online revenue (16%), but much less than mobile channels (51%). Mobile platforms accounted for 54% of all stakes in Denmark, with desktop at 22% and 24% with land-based bookmakers.
