GAN launches simulated sports betting with Ohio client in advance of legislation CDC Gaming Reports · October 12, 2020 at 3:26 pm Midwest casino operator Jack Entertainment has become the first client to launch GAN’s simulated sports betting product in advance of expected legislation in Ohio. Available at PlayJACK.com, the product is an expansion of GAN’s current simulated gaming product. Powered by Kambi, all major U.S. sports events are available together with a full range of pre-game and in-running betting. Sports betting is done by players purely for entertainment purposes; they can see how they perform relative to other sports gamblers in their state. The platform is designed to acquire future sports betters, with Ohio lawmakers wanting to reach a deal by the end of the year. Jack Entertainment currently operates Jack Cleveland and Jack Thistledown, both in Ohio. GAN expects sales of its simulated gaming to increase with the addition of sports betting. “The addition of simulated internet sports betting is a natural extension of our existing product […] as it offers sports bettors, in any state, the ability to participate in active sporting events with the added benefit of full integration with rewards program,” said GAN VP of Gaming Operations Tom Ustunel.
