Konami Gaming, Inc. named Jason Kremer as the company’s vice president of studio operations, who will provide more than two decades of experience to the gaming equipment developer and supplier.
In the role, Kremer will oversee Konami’s game development studios, both in-house and the company’s contracted studios.
Kremer held a similar position with International Game Technology and previously had gaming equipment design and development positions with Aristocrat Technologies and Multimedia Games.

“Jason Kremer has a proven track record in leading design and development organizations to success in multiple segments of gaming,” Konami Chief Product & Strategy Officer Victor Duarte said in a statement. “His addition to our team will accelerate our growth plans and enable Konami Gaming to effectively respond to emerging trends and opportunities.”
Konami Gaming is the Las Vegas-based subsidiary of Japan-based Konami Holdings Corp.
During the recent Global Gaming Expo, Konami unveiled its SYNK Vision, new artificial intelligence (AI) technology that can track all players on a casino’s floor by monitoring certain biometric identifiers.
The company unveiled two new slot machine cabinets at G2E:
- A new J-curve display, which features a 49-inch 4K Ultra HD video display and incorporates a host of user-friendly features such as wired and wireless phone charging stations, USB ports, bag hooks.
- KX 43, with its 43-inch screen, 4k graphics, dual spin buttons, high-performance sound system, and Asian-inspired art elements.
“Konami is committed to ongoing investments in talent and technologies that drive truly meaningful value to players and operators,” Duarte said.
SunTrust Bank gaming analyst Barry Jonas told investors after G2E he “could see Konami regaining some ship share. Many of the slot managers we spoke with noted they came away from the conference positive on their latest offerings.”
