Attorneys representing concerned St. Tammany citizens and owners of the proposed Camilia Bay casino in Slidell were in court Tuesday where they received an update on whether or not the vote to approve the casino would be on the ballot in December.

The judge set two more court dates.

The first court date will be Nov. 30 at 9 a.m. and the judge will hear several motions. This hearing will be open to the public.

At this court date, the judge will hear motions for summary judgement. This means the judge would either grant or deny a request for a decision on the motion that day, which would mean there would be no trial.

If the judge denies the request for a summary judgement, a final court date was set for Dec. 3, which will determine whether or not the casino proposal will remain on the ballot for the Dec. 11 election.
