The most destructive wildfire in the history of Colorado destroyed over 1,000 Boulder County homes and businesses last week, and one sportsbook in the state is stepping up in an effort to help.

MaximBet, which went live in the state in September, announced late last week it was donating $10,000 to the Boulder County Community Wildfire Fund and would match any and all donations made by MaximBet users.

“Watching the devastation unfold across Colorado yesterday was heartbreaking, and our hearts go out to all the families impacted by the wildfire,” MaximBet CEO Daniel Graetzer said in a press release Friday. “Since choosing Colorado as the first state to launch MaximBet, we have been overwhelmed by the community and support we received in just a short period of time.”
