Nevada: Aristocrat and Boyd launch cashless pay solution trial for table games Rege Behe, CDC Gaming Reports · October 13, 2021 at 9:50 am Aristocrat Gaming and Boyd Wednesday announced the launch of Boyd Pay Wallet, a cashless payment solution for table games. Powered by Aristocrat’s digital wallet technology, the technology will be tested at a field trial at Boyd Gaming’s Aliante Casino Hotel and Spa in North Las Vegas, in partnership with Genesis Gaming. The table games trial follows the introduction of cashless technology for slot players at Boyd Gaming properties in Nevada, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Ohio, and a cashless payment solution for non-gaming amenities in Nevada. “Boyd Pay is another example of our commitment to leverage technology to enhance the guest experience at our properties, said Boyd Gaming Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Blake Rampmaier in a statement. “Boyd Gaming continues to add industry-best mobile cashless wagering and contactless solutions in partnership with Aristocrat to drive mobile innovation in a secure and exciting environment for our patrons.” Boyd Pay Wallet will be available through and integrated into Boyd Gaming’s B Connected app. Players can use mobile devices to fund table game play without withdrawing cash from an ATM or redeeming tickets and chips at a cage. When done playing, players can keep their chips or transfer funds back to their Boyd Pay Wallet. “Innovation and improving the guest journey is at the heart of everything we do, and our industry-leading mobile offerings are a testament to that,” said Aristocrat Gaming Executive Vice President of Customer Experience Solutions Cath Burns in a statement. “With this technology, we’re committed to delivering best-in-class experiences for both patrons and operators throughout the guest journey.” The Boyd Pay Wallet uses the Oasis 360 casino management system with TrackIT, powered by Genesis, to allow guests to wager using QR codes at the start of sessions. Oasis 360 also allows guest redemption through the Boyd Pay Wallet, and gives operators better visibility of player activity, reduces costs and risks, and supports responsible gaming.
