Nevada’s gaming regulators are reminding casinos about pool capacity limits after some photos and video of crowds in Las Vegas went viral over the weekend.
The state’s Gaming Control Board issued a notice on Wednesday saying licensees with pools still have to comply with current COVID-19 mitigation protocols.
For now, pool areas are restricted to at most 50% of the listed fire code capacity, according to the Control Board.
“Licensees are cautioned that if social distancing in the pool area cannot be maintained at 50% of listed fire code capacity, capacity must be reduced accordingly to meet the social distancing requirement,” the notice states.
