Nevada Gold & Casinos, which is moving its corporate headquarters from Las Vegas to Seattle, said Wednesday it would change chief executives.
Victor Mena, who oversses Nevada Gold’s nine gaming operations in Washington, will succeed Michael Shaunnessy, as president and CEO following the move. The company, which also operates the Club Fortune Casino in Henderson, Nev., did not say when the transition would take place.
Mena has led the operations in Washington since Nevada Gold acquired its initial three casinos in the state in 2009. The company’s board approved his appointment.
Shaunnessy will continue on a temporary basis with Nevada Gold to assist in the transition and relocation.
