New record for Colorado sports betting: $230 million in November bets Dustin Gouker, Legal Sports Report · December 24, 2020 at 7:43 am The Colorado sports betting industry hit a new monthly record with more than $231 million in bets recorded in November. That’s according to figures released today by the Colorado Department of Revenue’s Division of Gaming. That number is up from about $210 million in handle in October, an increase of about ten percent month over month. Those wagers generated $18.3 million in gross gaming revenue for the state’s sportsbook operators. The state collected just under $800,000 in taxes on sports betting revenue. Online sports betting in Colorado accounted for all but about $4.3 million of the bets. “The positive response by Coloradans to sports betting continues to bring voter intended results that means good things to come for the beneficiaries,” said Dan Hartman.
