The Cascades Casino in North Bay, originally scheduled to open in 2020, is back on track with an opening date in early in 2022.

The company said the official opening date will be announced shortly.

The site of the North Bay casino off Pinewood Park Drive broke ground in 2019, but construction was derailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, construction resumed once again in April of this year and things are looking encouraging for an opening date in 2022.

The owner operator of the Cascades Casino…is Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Ltd., one of the largest gaming and entertainment companies in Canada with 26 gaming properties in British Columbia and Ontario along with two additional properties in Edmonton.
