Penn National’s proposed mini-casino near Morgantown faces a potentially fateful hearing Evan Jones, Reading Eagle · June 11, 2019 at 2:22 pm A big step in Penn National Gaming Inc.’s process of building a mini-casino in Caernarvon Township could come Wednesday. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has scheduled a public hearing in which it will ask questions to Penn National officials on its application for a Category 4 license. According to Doug Harbach, PGCB communications director, the board could hold a final vote on the license later in the meeting. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. on the second floor of the Strawberry Square Complex, Harrisburg. A vote on the license could come about an hour later.
