“As a family-owned business for over 100 years, today marks a special day for my family and The Cordish Companies as we expand our Live! Casino brand into Pennsylvania for the first time,” said Jon Cordish, Principal of The Cordish Companies.

The 100,000-square-foot, two-level property features 750 slots and 30 table games, as well as a FanDuel Sportsbook, all on the ground floor. The second level is accessible to guests of all ages for entertainment and food options, including live music and non-casino games. Restaurants include Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen + Bar and the bi-level Sports & Social Steel City sports-themed eatery, gaming venue and social lounge. PBR Pittsburgh Country Bar will open in next year’s phase two. More than 6,000 surface parking spaces complement Westmoreland Mall’s parking garage.

Live! Casino’s “Play It Safe” plan is an enhanced health and sanitation program that allows for social distancing, reduced occupancies, and hygiene and health measures for all guests and team members.

Live! Casino opens to the general public on Tuesday November 24. It is projected that it will provide the region with $188 million in annual economic impact, $47.5 million in tax revenues, and 500 permanent new jobs.

Live! Casino Pittsburgh will be joined in the next few months by Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, located in the heart of the Stadium District.
