The Reno-based company said Friday it was planning the reopening of five casinos in four states – Florida, Indiana, Colorado, and Ohio.

The company’s Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey and Grand Victoria in Illinois are the only casinos still closed as the two states have not announced plans for the resumption of gaming.

Eldorado said Friday it will reopen Isle Casino Racing Pompano in Florida on Saturday, Tropicana Evansville in Indiana on Monday, Isle Casino Hotel Blackhawk, and Lady Luck Casino Blackhawk in Colorado on Wednesday, and Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs in Ohio next Friday.

“We are excited and grateful to be on track to reopen our casinos in Florida, Indiana, Colorado and Ohio very soon, following which 90 percent of our properties will have resumed operations,” said Eldorado President Anthony Carano.

Eldorado has developed a comprehensive list of health and safety protocols that are being implemented in all gaming markets as the operations reopen.

“We have been working very hard over the last two months to prepare to welcome our guests back,” Carano said.

Eldorado currently has operations in 11 states.

The casino giant expects to complete its $17.3 billion merger with Caesars Entertainment by the end of the month. The transaction, which will create a regional gaming giant with nearly 60 properties in 16 states, is awaiting approval of the Federal Trade Commission and gaming regulators in Nevada, New Jersey, and Indiana.

Eldorado is the acquiring company and its management will oversee the combined operation.
