Reno-based Eldorado Resorts said it will resume gaming at Grand Victoria Casino Elgin in Illinois on Wednesday and Tropicana Atlantic City on Thursday, pending receipt of final regulatory approvals.
With the planned openings, Eldorado’s 23 gaming properties in 11 states will have resumed operations after being closed since mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The health and safety of our team members and guests remain our top priority and we have been working very hard over the last three months to prepare to welcome our guests back,” said Eldorado President Anthony Carano. “We look forward to safely providing the outstanding service and hospitality experiences our casinos are known.”
Eldorado said it developed a comprehensive list of health and safety protocols that are being implemented in all gaming markets where it has operations as they reopen.
