The Sands Macao Poker Room officially welcomed its first players on Saturday afternoon, with Sands China telling Inside Asian Gaming that the decision to introduce poker was designed to diversify the property’s offerings. Sands also operates a poker room at the Venetian Macao. The new poker room at Sands Macao is modest, with four tables offering games from HK$25/$50 up to HK$2,000/$4,000. Three of those tables were full on opening night.
