The latest sports betting deal has matched up DraftKings with the New York Giants and will include a “virtual” sports lounge on game day, which will provide attendees ways to participate on the sports betting operation’s platform.

The agreement names DraftKings as the official sports betting, iGaming, and daily fantasy partner of the Giants.

“Both organizations remain committed to customer experience through enhanced product offerings and authenticity and look forward to joining forces across platforms as the highly-anticipated NFL season gets underway,” DraftKings’ Chief Business Officer Ezra Kucharz.

DraftKings operates both retail and online sportsbooks in 10 states, including New Jersey where the Giants play their home games. The company said football continues to be the most popular sport on the DraftKings platform and the collaboration looks to enhance both customer experience and engagement throughout the NFL season and beyond.

The company said the Giants rank in the top 40 of the most highly bet franchises on the DraftKings sportsbook platform out of more than 700 teams available.

Under the agreement, DraftKings and the Giants will provide a free-to-play pick ‘em game that will be available to Giants fans on a weekly basis.

Giants Chief Commercial Officer Pete Guelli said the agreement with DraftKings marks the first “exclusive integrated deal in this category.”

The agreement grants DraftKings access to official Giants marks and logos.

Last week, before the start of the NFL season, the American Gaming Association said the league and its teams had formed 26 marketing and data-sharing partnerships with firms associated with sports gaming since May 2018, when the Supreme Court ruled to legalize sports betting. Eighteen states and Washington D.C. currently allow regulated sports betting in casinos, racetracks, and online.
