A bill to ask voters whether they want to legalize sports betting hasn’t been introduced yet, but the lawmaker behind it says it’s still coming. And Democrats in the House are scaling back their plans for immigration reform and vaccine exemptions to win Gov. Jared Polis’ approval. Lawmakers across the country have been working to legalize sports betting since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in May that a federal law limiting sports betting to a handful of states was unconstitutional.
