Fuchs also held senior management positions with Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance and Yahoo Entertainment and Music, overseeing day-to-day operations for each division. At Yahoo, Fuchs led the development and growth of its fantasy sports business.

“(Ken) has a proven record at leading technology/media companies and a strong digital background that will allow us to continue to innovate and enhance our digital offerings as additional states legalize sports betting,” William Hill US CEO Joe Asher said in a statement.

William Hill US operates 108 sports books in Nevada. Following the Supreme Court ruling that legalized sports betting in May, the company launched sports book operations in New Jersey, Mississippi, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island and serves as the exclusive risk manager for the sports lottery in Delaware.

In a statement, Fuchs said he would work with William Hill US to grow the company’s digital and mobile products.

“Sports betting is just getting started in the United States.” Fuchs said. “William Hill US already has an established, successful business in Nevada and has made fantastic progress since sports betting was legalized elsewhere earlier this year.”
