Wind Creek Hospitality manages the Poarch tribe’s seven gaming facilities in Alabama, Nevada, Aruba, and Curacao, as well as racetracks in Alabama and Florida. Its donation comes at a critical time for food banks in Alabama, which are responding to children losing school meals, families struggling with lost wages, and seniors at risk for hunger.

“Thanks to the generous support from Wind Creek, our food banks are able to serve families experiencing economic crisis during this pandemic,” said Laura Lester, executive director of the Alabama Food Bank Association. “Our network’s hunger-relief programs help deliver millions of pounds of nutritious food to the communities we serve across Alabama.”

“Wind Creek isn’t on the front lines of the pandemic crisis, but we want to support those who are,” said Wind Creek’s Director of Public Relations, Magi Williams.
