Wisconsin: Potawatomi tests Lyft program to solve employee transportation issues Margaret Naczek, Milwaukee Business Journal · November 14, 2019 at 6:16 pm Employees at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, like those for many of its neighboring businesses, face difficulties in transportation to and from the Menomonee Valley. That difficulty prompted Potawatomi to launch a new pilot program with Lyft, which will begin Nov. 18. Potawatomi is assisting its employees with free or low-cost Lyft rides at certain times of the day and in certain conditions. In emergency situations, which include car problems or bad weather conditions, Potawatomi employees can receive one ride a month, up to five miles. Potawatomi will cover 40% of the cost, and the rides must either begin or end at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, located at 1721 W. Canal St.
